I’ve been thinking about my game way too much, and it’s starting to stress me out. Until now, I always felt like I was making progress, but lately it feels like I’ve stopped moving forward.

When I first started making the game, there were so many things missing that almost anything I added made a huge difference. Seeing those changes made me happy. But now that I’m getting closer to the final product, everything is about much smaller details, so it feels like I haven’t made any real progress for weeks.

I think this is a feeling I won’t be able to get past until I finally release the game. That’s why I want to publish it now.

After releasing it, I want to spend a long period of time mainly focusing on promoting and marketing the game. I think that’s how I can give it a real chance to become successful. If I don’t do that, nothing is going to happen on its own. The game is technically already available right now, for example, but it hasn’t received any downloads or visibility. Those numbers aren’t just going to increase by themselves.

I want to create content around the game, promote it, and try to get it in front of more people.

Today was a really exhausting day mentally. I feel burned out, but I’m still trying to keep going because I’ve been working on this project for a long time, and I need to finish it. I don’t want to leave something unfinished, especially something I started with so much excitement and genuinely enjoyed working on. I don’t want to abandon it and waste what it could potentially become.

I want to see what its potential actually is. Even if it ends up failing, I think I’ll at least feel more at peace knowing that I genuinely gave it a chance.

And I still believe that people could be interested in it, even if the main appeal is simply having a Sudoku game without ads.
